How Long Does It Take to Treat the Hair Loss in Women?

Hair loss in women is different to hair loss in men. In women, hair loss usually occurs as local balding on the middle of the head, where the hair is split to the sides, the hair frontline recedes or balding occurs on the crown.

If these areas of the scalp are suitable for hair transplantation, we perform the operation without shaving those areas but if the hair loss is due to hormonal imbalances or vitamin deficiencies and imbalances, then the hair loss treatment can be faster in women than in men. Our female patients have an advantage in that sense. If the hair transplantation has been performed, they can observe the results in 6 – 7 months. If they receive treatment, they can observe the results in 2 – 3 months.
