What is Hair Eczema?

Hair eczema often occurs on the hair bearing skin/scalp, around the nostrils/the nose, inside the ears, and around the earlap. It leads to a rash and flaking, and is a hair disease.

This illness usually occurs in winter. In the summer it often slows down. There is theory which says this is related to one’s stress levels. The sun and going to the seaside in the summer is believed to decrease stress levels and help the healing of the skin.

The exact causes are still unknown, and it is not certain if it is exactly related to one’s stress levels but hair eczema progresses more rapidly during winter, and is weaker during summer months, and it occurs as rash and flaking on the skin, and is a hair condition.
