What Are the Reasons for Hair Loss?

There are two types of hair loss: the type that causes baldness, and the hair loss type that does not cause baldness, and is temporary. Temporary hair loss occurs because of short term health problems a person experiences, side effects of a medication, temporary anemia, malnutrition, or having an operation after an inflammatory disease. In these cases, hair loss is temporary, and the body heals on its own or can heal with the help of treatments in the short term.  Permanent hair loss and balding can occur because of genetic susceptibility, systemic diseases, thyroid function disorders, hormonal disorders, gynecological illness, and long term anemia.
