What are the Differences Between No-Shave Hair Transplants and Hair Transplant with Shaving in Women?

If a female patient has male type balding, or in other words androgenic alopecia, then it is best to shave their scalp before the hair transplant. If there is no complete balding of the scalp but rather a local balding – for example in the hair frontline – then we can perform the surgery without shaving the patient’s whole scalp, and by simply cutting a small area in the back of their head.
