When Does the Scabbing on the Scalp that Occurs After Having Hair Transplant Go Away?

In hair transplants, we make incisions on the scalp, and transplant the extracted hair follicles in these incisions. In both the donor and the recipient sites, some scabbing can occur due to the fluids penetrating outside after the hair transplant surgery. The scabbing goes away in 7-10 days after the hair transplant, depending on the patient’s health, and thanks to washing their hair one day after the hair surgery.
