We usually invite our patients for an examination on the second day after surgery.
We remove the medical dressing in the donor area, and check for any infections or bleeding in the recipient and donor areas.
We tell you what you will need to look out for before a hair wash, and give you the instructions and demonstrate to you how to follow the necessary procedures.
Later on we ask our patients to return to our clinic for examinations in the first and in the 3. week.
We take photos of the different stages at 1., 5., 3., 6., 9. and 12 months’ post-surgery, during our examinations.
In the later stages, monitoring and assessing the hair structure, and watching the changes by comparing pictures give good results.
