Is There an Age Limit for The Hair Transplant? Who Can Have It? (Are There Any Age Restrictions?)

In order for the patient to have a hair transplant it is best that the patient is an adult who has finished puberty.

For the elder people, we evaluate the patient’s general health condition, assess their expectations, and the sufficiency of the donor hair follicles.

Any heart conditions, diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis of the neck or lower back problems reduces the tolerance of a patient for this surgery.

If the patient will undergo hair transplantation, we might need to read and monitor the sugar in the blood, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, and even give breaks, and let the patient rest in these cases.
