Is Hair Mesotherapy a Surgical Procedure?

Hair mesotherapy is not a surgical procedure. It involves the injection of special solutions called cocktails in the hair follicles with the use of needles or the special devices called dermastamp.

There are other methods such as injections or hair PRP that are injected in the hair follicles. Hair mesotherapy is a treatment that involves injecting medications that prevent hair loss, especially amino acids, and specific protein cocktails in the hair follicles and takes place in sessions. There is a common misunderstanding about this method. Hair mesotherapy does not stimulate the growth of new hair, it only prevents hair loss, and makes hair look healthier, shinier, and thicker.

If a person is experiencing balding, and wants to have hair in the balding area, it is best to go for hair transplantation.
