At first, we make sure the patient is not allergic to biofiber. If the patient is not allergic to it, then we determine which biofiber to choose to accord with the patient’s hair color, hair thickness, and hair amount.
If the clinic does already have the required biofiber, we order it. We perform the procedure, and transplant it as in the normal hair transplant process under local anesthesia. Biofiber has a knot like structure to be implanted and last under the skin. This makes them more resistant to flexing and tensile stress.
Usually, 800 to 1500 biofibers are implanted per session. We recommend repeating the sessions every 2-3 weeks.
