What is the Healing Period Like in Stem Cell Hair Treatments?

After the solution containing the stem cells has been prepared, it is injected on to the scalp, and after the injection temporary swelling and redness will occur. This goes away in a short time, and the patient can resume their everyday life without any problems. However, this treatment needs to be repeated at least three times in sessions 3-4 weeks apart from each other. Therefore, it is best to be aware of the remission period of 1-2 days after each session. When the sessions are over, the transplanted stem cells set in to the scalp, and they start developing. The developed stem cells grow hair follicles, and or these follicles to become visible, at least six months must pass. In later stages, it is easier to observe the grown hair follicles, and perform follow up examinations.
