Is There Any Risk of Infection in FUT Hair Transplantation?

There is a risk of infection after having a FUT hair transplantation. Actually, there is a risk of infection after all surgical procedures because if the procedure does not take place in a hospital, if it is not performed by medical doctors/specialists, if the instruments used during the procedure are not disposable, if a qualified medical team does not perform the operation, and the environment is not sanitized, there is a risk of infection be it a FUT, FUE, PRP or hair therapy; whichever hair treatment method it is.

Therefore, follow these guidelines: choose a hospital environment for having your hair transplant operation, under a plastic surgeon or dermatologist’s supervision, a medical team, and surgical room conditions. If no attention is paid for providing the necessary conditions for a hair transplant, there is a risk of infection.
