If I were new to the hair transplant industry, the first thing that would pop into my head would be the cost for a hair transplant, and particularly the FUE hair transplant cost because it is the most advanced and the newest hair transplant technique.
I hate and love to say that the costs for a FUE hair transplant changes mainly from one place to the other. Every country has different economic strengths and weaknesses. In some, the minimum wage is high but health costs are lower. In others, both are low. In general, in the US, in the UK, and in other parts of Europe, hair transplants cost a fortune. Hair transplant is not a life-saving surgery, and is considered to be a cosmetic one. Also, considering the economic wealth of these countries, it is within reason to expect high costs for cosmetic surgeries. FUE hair transplants usually cost more than FUT hair transplants because of the surgical skills involved.
They often give better results too. The higher the cost for a hair transplant does not mean the better the results. The best hair transplant surgeons will charge really high for FUE hair transplants but there are thousands of other hair transplant surgeons around the world, who are very skilled and can perform hair transplants well.
In countries like Thailand, Turkey, and India, both FUE and FUT hair transplants costs are lower than in the Western world. It is no wonder that Turkey is a top destination in hair transplants, cosmetic surgeries, health tourism in general, and mostly FUE hair transplants because the costs for the hair transplant are affordable. Most people like it a touristic destination, and some aspects of it still feel like home due to its modern cities.
The cost of a FUE hair transplant in Turkey would not be as high as that of in the USA, Canada, the UK, and so on. According to the NHS website, “A hair transplant in the UK can cost anywhere between £1,000 and £30,000, depending on the extent of hair loss, the type of procedure you have, and the quality of the clinic and its team.”, whereas in Turkey you would pay less.
