Do Crash Diets Cause Hair Loss in Women?

Crash diets, an imbalanced diet, eating one type of food can all be the reasons for potential hair loss. Hair follicles directly get nutrients from the blood, they do not obtain nutrients from shampoos or food. The hair is composed of protein, and therefore in our diets, we should have enough protein to keep our hair healthy. Crash diets increase the loss of immediate energy in a short time, our bodies react in return. Hair is not a priority for the body, and the body starts paying attention to the other organs. The food the body gets is then stored for the vital organs by the body, and the hair cannot get enough nutrients. This causes hair loss.
