Is It Possible to Completely Cover Up Burn Marks or Scars with Hair Transplantation?

Burn marks, or scars…

scar hair transplant

Our patients ask us to cover up burn marks, scars or other marks with hair transplantation. First of all, we analyze the scar or the burn mark. Then if the scar is wide we make it smaller, and after that perform the hair transplantation because the tissues with scars or burn marks do not have adequate circulation, the tissues in these areas cannot nourish which makes it difficult for the transplanted hair to last and grow in the recipient area.

That is why we make the scars or burn marks smaller with surgery for the tissue to be smaller, and in the second session we perform the hair transplantation.
