What Are the Causes of Hair Diseases?

The causes of hair diseases depend on the group that they belong to. If there are problems with the hair follicles, these might be due to the seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, scalp ringworm, fungal disease, pediculosis and eczema on a person’s scalp. Pediculosis is often a hair disease but also it can cause scalp diseases.

In some hair diseases, the hair itself is affected. The hair loss from pulling hair, the damages on the shaft of the hair, and the damages on the cortex which is inside the hair can be some of these problems. These often happen due to external factors, and whenever there is an external problem, hair diseases might occur.
