Often times our patients ask us if one experiences bleeding after hair transplant surgery.
We inject the patient with anesthetics with adrenaline that reduce bleeding. These medications cause vasoconstriction in the veins which results in less bleeding.
However, in the later stages one might experience bleeding after taking aspirin or if their blood pressure goes up. We take precautions against these situations. We prescribe our patients medications that regulate blood pressure, and tell our patients not to take painkillers that may increase bleeding.
